Though sometimes I'm reluctant to cut into favorite vintage textiles, it seems, well, not quite right to leave pretty old fabrics folded up in an armoire where they aren't often seen or touched. With that in mind, I made this little pouch to hold sewing notions. It now sits on my crafting table (where it can be seen and used often :). A bientôt !

Hi! I love to hear from you. Please know that I appreciate your comments and e-mails even though I am not always able to respond. :-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-: I grew up in the United States and now live near Paris with my husband (who is French) and our son. I like all things vintage and making things by hand.

It's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI really like these colors. I have been inspired by so many in blogland, that I am changing my decorating from dark country colors to brighter cottage/farmhouse colors. I'm driving my husband crazy, but I'm having fun! BTW, I've been an admirer of your work for awhile:)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I agree - you should use the vintage fabrics - they were made to be used, not stored!
