Red and White Vintage Finds

MV...as in mysteriously vintage. Whenever I buy vintage or thrifted things I always wonder whom they've belonged to and where they've been. Hmm...if objects could talk, what would they say?

MV...comme mystérieusement vintage. A chaque fois que je trouve des objets anciens je me demande à qui ils appartennaient auparavent et d'où ils viennent. Si les objets pouvaient parler, que diraient-ils ?

Some Very Colorful Colors

My two-year-old son really likes these bright colors, so thanks to him I had fun making this wall tote based on a tutorial by Jennifer Casa of JCasa Handmade (I love the fact that it has a big pocket on the front). Aren't kids the best?

Mon fils (qui a deux ans) aime beaucoup ces couleurs vives. Donc grâce à lui c'était si sympa de faire ce petit sac réalisé d'après un tuto de Jennifer Casa (j'adore le fait qu'il y ait une grand poche devant). Les enfants sont extras !

An "Appetizing" Recipe

(not shown in the photo above: "bon" as in "bon appétit")

Ingredients:
1 linen tea towel
a dash of red thread
a dash of white thread

Mix it all together and here's a glimpse of what you get!
No cooking required :)

Bon appétit!

Ingrédients :
1 torchon en lin
une pincée de fil rouge
une pincée de fil blanc

Mélanger le tout et voilà un aperçu du résultat !
Pas besoin de cuisson :)

How Do You Spell Summer?

The summery alphabet cross-stitch pattern is from the book Miniatures au point de croix and the stitches are done with one red thread over one thread of blue linen (petit point), instead of the "usual" two threads over two threads.
