Dressed Up Thread

A vintage find...carefully wrapped wooden spools of thread in a pretty box.

Wouldn't it be great if they still sold thread like this, dressed to the nines?

  1. You should keep them carefully like this and not use them, it looks so nice such a full box of wooden spools!

The box is adorable as well, not as simpel as the way we buy thread these days ;0)

  5. I remember when they sold stockings like that, at Peck & Peck. My father would drive me there at Christmas, so I could go in and buy a pair for my mother, while he waited in the car. They came in a lovely flat cox, the bottom of which was shiny red and the top of which was the grey and white Peck & peck pattern.

  12. Jolie! I have some old wooden spools of thread from my mom. I do use the thread, but I save the spools (what for, I don't know).
