And the winner of the vintage giveaway is: BloomCongratulations!
Also, thank you, everyone, so very much (merci mille fois à vous toutes) for participating in the giveaway and for your comments, which I loved reading. And, just a few remarks in response:
Congratulations and warm wishes to you, Angel Mélie, on the new addition to your family! Félicitations et beaucoup de bonheur à toute la famille !
Happy Birthday, Ashley Ann!
To all of you who leave comments in a language -- whether French or English -- other than your mother tongue, thank you very much because I know from experience that it's not always easy to do so.
Since some of you have asked where I find vintage fabrics...the answer is the usual places -- thrift stores, flea markets, etc. But I should say that I'm not lucky enough to find them very often. I love vintage fabrics and have just collected them for many years. For example, I've been sort of hoarding these two giveaway ones for quite awhile (a good reason for me to part with them - they should be put to use somehow rather than just sitting hidden in a basket).
Why give these away? Well, it's nice to be able to share an interest in vintage fabrics with other people who like them, too. Also, it's a way to show my appreciation for the visits and kind comments that I've received on my blog. Being a mother to a little boy keeps me really busy and I'm not able to visit/leave comments on other blogs or respond individually as much as I'd like to.
Have a nice weekend! :-: Bon week-end !

Hi! I love to hear from you. Please know that I appreciate your comments and e-mails even though I am not always able to respond. :-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-: I grew up in the United States and now live near Paris with my husband (who is French) and our son. I like all things vintage and making things by hand.
