Souvenirs of the Past

When I go to flea markets I like to look at old black and white photos. And for some reason, I'm usually drawn to the ones with vacation or backyard scenes. Here are some favorites...

Sun, sand, and striped parasols

Old bw fotos are very beautiful and nice, tell many stories... I also collect them. I specially like the in the middle with lady in their swimsuits, it is a bit funny and makes me laugh and smile.

Best regards,
Elsa

Hi :)
Thanks so much for your visit today & for your kind words ! :) You made my day !
Oh I {heart} so much old postcards or old photos. You may have seen in my recent posts (last Saturday I think) that I found treasured postcards from my maternal grandparents, when decluttering. They are so precious to me. They hold stories & history that I don't even know myself, but I'm happy to own them.
Thanks so much for sharing these, the baby one is by far my fave ! ;D
Have a great end of the week ! xoxo

C'est une chance d'avoir des photos de sa maman de cette époque et elles sont belles de surcroit

I was directed to your site by Jana (she's your cousin) and a college buddy of mine. I'm so glad she did! I love old photos. The silent stories they tell connect us. I do scrapbooks and some cards. You've inspired me to go hunting for some of these photos for me next creations!
Merci
Angie

Love the bathing beauties in the middle especially. Old photos are always fun to flip through, I used to flip through boxes of them with my great grandma when I was little - such great memories.
