When I sewed the little house that's shown in the last post, my son liked it (it's just his size), so I made this one especially for him. I used vintage materials again, sewed the number two on it because he's turning two soon, and added the R because it's his initial.*Just an idea -- these houses look cute when hanging from the knob on a child's bedroom door.
* If you make one of these houses for a small child, you might want to replace the button with something like felt if the child will be unsupervised when playing with it.

I love the creative houses. The polka dots are great! The workmanship is excellent as well.

Your houses are adorable! I love your style. It's simple, colorful, and not too cutesy.
The houses are so cute!! I love them. All the things you make are so gorgeous!
Nice to read the underline where you suggest to loose the button and use something else iff it's for a child.
Something different.. I'm a visual art teacher and we worked on an assignment to make a toy which is save to play with (and educational). So no buttons for small childeren, no zippers to open, nothing which can be pulled or bitten of.. So your line made a big smile on my face! Nice.
Thank you very much!
